The command bar is the fastest way around EarningSpike. Open it from anywhere and start typing.
Open it
- Cmd-K on Mac, or Ctrl-K on Windows
- Press / on the Home or a stock page to start searching right away
- On your phone, tap Search in the bottom bar
What you can do
- Find a ticker. Type a symbol and press Enter to open its page. Your recent tickers show up first.
- Go to a page. Type "screener", "calendar", "movers", "lists", and jump straight there. Common nicknames work too, so "scanner" finds the Screener and "gainers" finds Movers.
- Run an action. Open Alerts or your Account and Settings without leaving the keyboard.
Get around with the keys
- Up and Down arrows move through the results
- Enter opens the highlighted result
- Esc closes the bar
Once this becomes muscle memory, you rarely need the menus at all.
